Supporting the Boy Scouts of America for almost 20 years

Posted on March 3rd, 2013

boy scoutsFor almost 20 years, Randall Metals founder Larry Leffingwell and partner Jonathan Metcalf have been supporting the Chicago Boy Scouts association through the annual Metals Industry dinner which is held every Spring in downtown Chicago. Both have had children who were a part of the Boy Scouts program.

Over the years the event has become a great way to develop relationships with other individuals and companies in the metals industry as well as re-connect with past business associates and friends.

One of the most interesting parts of the night always is the silent auction. Randall has participated in the auction almost every year and we've been able to win some pretty cool prizes including:

1. An Autographed Dave Matthews Band Guitar

2. A Cubs / Sox sky box suite

3. An Ernie Banks autographed Baseball Bat

4. An autographed Bobby Hull Jersey.

This year Randall Metals will once again be attending the event on April 10th at the Chicago Hyatt Regency Downtown with various members of the Randall Team. Be sure to come by our table and say hi!

If you and your company are interested in attending, you can find a brochure about the event here
